Full Job Description

The Social Creative will play a key role in Burberry's social creative team by concepting and executing social-first

ideas with impeccable craft. This role involves leveraging experience in art direction and collaboration with

production and post-production teams to bring creative concepts to life

The Social Creative will ensure content is inherently social and aligned with Burberry's brand values, working

closely with other creatives and strategists as a partner within the broader social and marketing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • A key player within the social creative team across creative concepting and execution for upcoming social


  • media activations; taking projects through the complete end-to-end pipeline - from concept to delivery.

  • Support the Social Art Director and collaborate with wider social and marketing teams to deliver social-


  • first creative closely aligned to brief.

  • Lead on some projects with support from the Social Art Director


  • Support the Social Art Director on set and in development of live projects, including research and


  • building out creative detail (references, locations, collaborators and so on).

  • Concept, design and art-working for bespoke social content and activations


  • Support in the professional development of the Social Creative Assistant


  • Diligently and effectively communicate with collabroators and creators across all elements of the


  • pipeline.

  • Collate and interpret native concepts across an array of executional styles that deliver to brief.


  • Effecively communicate concepts through both visual and written medium


  • Understand video editing techniques and tailor different outputs specifically for various platforms.


  • Stay on top of content trends, possible collaborators, and technology that can deliver innovative content


  • for our platforms.

  • Maintain strong working relationships with the broader team based on positivity, proactiveness, and


  • solutions.

  • Work in close collaboration with collaborators to create content that embodies Burberry's essence and


  • aesthetic.

  • Develop mood boards, present ideas, and support on shoots to ensure a cohesive and innovative output.


  • Have an innate understanding of the social media landscape and effectively communicate ideas to


  • various stakeholders.

  • Posess passion for conceptual thinking and storytelling through your work.

  • Create concepts and support in the delivery of projects in line with the brief.


  • Achieve social reach, engagement and other KPIs.

  • Recognise wider business objectives and champion our brand values alongside other teams and

  • A highly creative mind with a strong eye for detail and extensive understanding of the social media


  • landscape, with a demonstrable understanding of what makes content travel.

  • Experience within the social creative field, particularly innovative areas of the field.


  • A portfolio demonstrating social-first ideas. Experience within the fashion industry is preferred.


  • Knowledge of social-first creators, photographers, set designers, and other collaborators.


  • Consistently driving performance with innate knowledge of the social space and channel nuance.


  • Understanding of design processes and how to brief graphic, motion, and 3D designers.


  • Ability to encourage and motivate internal and external partners.


  • Ability to conceptualize ideas and manage shoot productions with limited direction.


  • An inclusive team player with a positive, "can-do" attitude.


  • Ability to communicate creative vision both written and verbally through presentations to senior


  • stakeholders.

  • A confident creative point of view with the ability to listen, think, and propose at an unprecedented pace.


  • Highly organized and able to work across multiple projects simultaneously.


  • Proficiency in Photoshop and editing software is essential.


  • Possess a BA, or similar, in fields such Design, Fashion Communication, Video, Photography, and so on.
