Are you a creative thinker with a passion for digital marketing and social media? Heron Foods is seeking a Social & Digital Manager to take charge of our digital presence and help drive customer engagement across our growing estate of over 340 stores. This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic Marketing team, where you'll play a key role in shaping our online voice, building brand awareness, and fostering strong connections with our customers. In this role, you'll lead the day-to-day management of our digital channels, including social media and our website, developing innovative campaigns and strategies that align with our trade plan and marketing goals. You'll also work closely with our retail teams to ensure a seamless and consistent experience across physical and digital platforms. - Manage all digital channels, including social media and the website.
- Develop and execute social and digital strategies to boost brand awareness and strengthen customer relationships.
- Create captivating and engaging content, including photography and video, to drive audience growth and loyalty.
- Align social media plans with the overarching trade plan and marketing goals.
- Optimise digital platforms for performance and user engagement.
- Monitor and respond to online customer feedback and user-generated content.
- Analyse digital performance metrics and report actionable insights to improve strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent execution across all channels.
- Develop a framework for store-level social media content and engagement.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of a Heron Foods digital app.
Proven experience in managing digital and social media strategies. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decision-making.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate fresh, engaging ideas.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Basic design and copywriting skills, including editing and presentation capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of online marketing channels and how to execute them effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive, customer-first mindset.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple priorities.
Salary: up to £30,000 (dependent upon experience). - 30 days annual leave with the option to purchase additional days.
