Your team: We are the News Broadcasting Marketing & Social teams, dedicated to building campaigns, creative designs, media planning and growing our broadcasting brands - including Talk, Virgin Radio and talkSPORT. Your role: As Social Marketing Producer, reporting jointly to the Head of Marketing and Social Content Lead, you will own and develop plans to use the power of talkSPORT's and Virgin Radio's social media channels to promote the radio station. Day to day you will:

  • Take control of posting key marketing assets across talkSPORT & Virgin Radio channels
  • Daily posts to promote live sport, guests, presenters, shows, talkSPORT& Virgin Radioproducts and live listening
  • Working closely with wider marketing team to understand the key daily and weekly campaigns and how they can feed into it
  • Liaising with agencies to make sure they're getting assets in social sizes and they align to social and marketing strategies
  • Organising and overseeing the production of videos and shoots, from booking talent and freelancers to executing video campaigns
  • Clipping video from the talkSPORT& Virgin Radiolive streams to promote individual shows across social media, Complete understanding of all social media channels and how to engage with fans across our various touchpoints
  • Ability to digest and report back effectiveness of campaigns working with social media reporting tools
  • Knowledge of content marketing and how to build key campaigns to deliver messages effectively
  • Ability to digest key overarching campaign themes to produce effective messaging that will work for social channels
  • Graphic design skills are essential, plus video shooting and editing desirable
