Are you a creative communicator and media graduate who is excited by the chance to bring stories surrounding sustainable fishing to life, and make an impact on the health of our oceans? The MSC UK & Ireland team is launching a Social Media and Communications Internship to help provide a platform for new communicators in the environmental space.

Our media channels and campaigns are evolving, and we want you to help is build our presence and publish compelling messaging and media on them. We are looking for someone who is excited by the prospect of collaboration, working in an agile and fast-paced team & wants our work to reach as many people as possible.

Our multi-channel 'Always On' activities and consumer-facing campaigns across the year, will be a substantial focus of the work plan for this role.

This internship is a great opportunity to make an impact on the future of our oceans and work with a global network of committed individuals who are inspiring real change in our oceans.

This Social Media and Communications Internship connects with multiple areas of the MSC's work. Your working week will be varied, while one day you could engaging with our followers online through one of our owned social media channels, the next you could be briefing one of our ambassadors for posting on theirs in support of our work.

One of the key rewards of this role is making that connection between MSC certified sustainable fisheries and the people purchasing from them.

In this role we're looking for someone who has experience in using social media channels and a media and communications related degree. We are also keen to work with someone that is driven to get creative and support the cataloguing and delivery of compelling fishing stories and support our public-facing connectivity via social media.

We need an agile and dynamic team player that will collaborate closely with colleagues within the UK & Ireland team pods (fisheries, commercial and Marketing and Communication); so that our compelling and strategically important content can be developed and delivered across our Social Media work and in our campaigns.
