Full Job Description

  • Confident across mainstream platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Yapster, and TikTok, you'll curate and create content to drive engagement
  • Super-organised, you will managing multiple stakeholder relationships to plan and deliver a calendar of activities across a wide variety of venues and outlets whilst supporting wider-business organisational campaigns and priorities
  • Part of a strong marketing business-wide marketing community and a specialist in your discipline, you'll support others through supporting with content-generation and sharing your expertise outside your own division through training, advice and guidance
  • You will be an engaging and effective networker, building relationships with site-based and central support teams, as well as helping build the employer brand through LinkedIn content. You'll have strong relationships from senior exec and subject matter experts through to chefs and general managers, as you film them in their workspaces
  • You will also be asked to support with central function and group content too
  • You'll have a finger on the pulse of current social media trends, ideally across the wider food & hospitality industry, and be agile in jumping on these trends and bringing a fresh perspective
  • You'll also ensure we are maximising performance through testing, learning and refining so that we're continually improving to growing our presence
  • Areas of responsibility: Content creation and management:
  • Work collaboratively to build the overall strategy, using your expertise to guide creative planning
  • Create all organic content through video and photography, from ideation to execution
  • Build brand personality online and foster a community of engaged followers
  • Own the social calendar, coordinating across all outlets and functions to plan and prioritise post-scheduling
  • Be reactive and agile to meet changing priorities or jump on trends
  • Work with third-parties - clients, suppliers, influencers, collaborators - to collaborate on content
  • Ensure attention to detail and consistent brand execution of all content and captions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tools and trends
  • Ability to work within budget without hindering creativity
  • Stakeholder management:
  • Be proactive and responsive as required and lead communication with stakeholders
  • Actively engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner
  • Foster a sense of community and build relationships with followers
  • Work alongside PR agencies, match influencers to campaigns to increase visibility amongst new audiences
  • Support the people team with employer branding and sharing content for use on LinkedIn and the sustainability team for corporate messaging
  • Suggest new methods and tactics to improve outcomes, share insights and recommendations to optimise content
  • Analytics and reporting:
  • Lead the analysis of performance across all social channels and evaluating performance to inform future tactics
  • Report monthly on impact of activities including engagement stats and effectiveness of campaigns

    Minimum of 2 years' experience in content creation in the food industry or similar.
  • Interest in the reporting and analytics of social media, not just content creation
  • Confident working closely with multiple stakeholder across all levels
  • A socially confident, outgoing and engaging team player
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to balance desk time with content creation, ensuring we're always planning, yet able to re-prioritise if business needs change
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Experience of working in hospitality, particularly in and around visitor destinations, arts and cultural venues and/or workspace dining is desirable but not critical
  • A love of all things 'food and drink'
