Full Job Description
We are looking to appoint a passionate Social Media Executive to help us share our good news stories and build our online presence. The post-holder for this role will be a key member of the Content and Design Team, responsible for supporting the Creative Marketing Manager to create engaging social media posts and reels across multiple platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok). The role will involve collecting and creating content with students and teachers in our schools, and there will be a focus on video editing and reel creation. The role will involve supporting marketing campaigns across platforms, and supporting the management of communities and audiences on social media. The post-holder for this role will also be required to support on paid social activities and
reporting on social media activities across our channels. The post-holder will be a dynamic creative who collaborates positively with internal and
external stakeholders. The post-holder will be required to take direction well, managing their time efficiently and have the ability to respond to conflicting deadlines. The post-holder should have a passion for education and highly developed interpersonal skills are a must.
Responsibilities
This role is hands-on in its approach and as such requires the Social Media Executive to be involved in content creation process. Responsibilities include:
Content Creation
Planning and creating social media posts on specific themes and for events.
Supporting photography and videography collection for events and social media.
Using content to create reels and videos for social media.
Re-editing content for social media, including video editing and reel creation.
Support ad hoc content requests from the sales team and the schools.
Content Management
Support the storage of photography and video.
Support community management, monitoring and responding to comments and
messages promptly.
Research Activity
Conduct desk-based research on social media trends.
Stakeholder Management
Working with internal stakeholders to gather content for social media posts.
Collaborate with members of the marketing and communications teams to create
content specific to business needs.
Build positive relationships with school principals, teachers and students to gather
content needed for campaigns.
Knowledge of social media platforms and trends with a passion to stay up-to-date.
Experience creating high-quality content for social media on multiple platforms
Experience editing video for reels, using Premiere Pro or other software further
training can be provided.
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build effective relationships with internal
stakeholders.
Excellent planning and organisational skills.
Internet based research skills.
