Full Job Description
We're offering the opportunity to work at one of the top 100 companies to work for in Europe (Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For in Europe 2024 | Great Place To Work® UK) and help tell its story on LinkedIn, Facebook, Insta and X. This role is to showcase its amazing people in their best possible light, to be creative and imaginative and to try different and innovative ways of achieving eye-catching results.
Our social content engages audiences to tell our story. We think we do this well - and our followers tend to agree! But honestly, there's so much more of our story that we'd like to cover.
This role will be working closely with colleagues in communications, marketing, design, digital and beyond to make sure our messages stand out to people on different channels. The team works across the whole organisation, so being able to persuade and influence people at all levels will be an important part of the everyday job.
Creating posts and helping others understand how they can take a great photo or video will be parts of the role. And because not every comment under a post is straightforward to answer, the need to help people engage with positive and negative online feedback in the most suitable way will be key.
The role holder will need to develop an understanding of the financial services industry and being able to identify - and anticipate - risks and opportunities. A creative mind is needed but equally so is a safe and reliable pair of hands; dealing with reputational issues both in and outside of normal working hours is expected.
We're looking someone creative, ambitious and reliable, already working as part of an in house social media team or agency with a range of experience getting results on different social media channels. Experience of creating content for social media will also be essential..
You'll have video editing skills as well as being confident and creative taking photos and video by phone. You'll also have knowledge of which trends are working well on different channels - and which ones have already lost their edge.
Excellent relationship management skills as well as working collaboratively across multiple teams will be required as well as being able to produce work plans / schedules and identify opportunities and threats to our reputation.
Due to the nature of this role whilst we typically work on a hybrid basis the successful person must be able to travel to different locations as well as Coventry and also provide cover out of hours and over weekend, when needed.
