Full Job Description

The Social Responsibility and Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility (SR & EDIA) Team in the Faculty of Science and Engineering is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to deliver and co-ordinate initiatives and projects delivering on our SR & EDIA Strategy.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a personal commitment to Social Responsibility, and experience (in their work or personal life) of working in partnership with others to drive action and activity that makes a difference.

This role holder will work with the Social Responsibility and EDIA Manager and academic leaders to deliver against the Faculty's operational priorities relating to Social Responsibility and EDIA.

The Faculty's Social Responsibility strategy , includes four strands :

Enabling Impact

  • Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility

  • Environmental Sustainability

  • Engagement


  • The Social Responsibility and EDIA Officer will have particular focus on Enabling Impact and Environmental Sustainability, delivering initiatives and projects making a difference to internal, local (civic), national and international communities.
