Full Job Description
As a Social Value Coordinator you'll be working within the Social Value Team, supporting the development and implementation of the Social Value project across Southern, through coordinating and supporting social values programmes and activities, and acting as Social Value Champion by promoting social values to stakeholders both internally and externally Your day to day will include:
- Work closely with our clients and stakeholders to understand their Social Value requirements to deliver an engaging and meaningful programme of social value initiative
- Liaise with the Bids team to advise and consult on Social Value deliverables for potential contracts; and participate in internal and external focus groups and committees to promote Social Value work.
- Host and organise volunteer events, careers events in schools and be a part of creating resources
- Organize and host meetings with clear agendas on how the Social Value requirements for the particular contracts will be achieved.
- Keep on top of all reporting requirements both internally and externally, which vary per contract and client.
You are Comfortable with presenting and communicating at all levels - Have some understanding of social value measurement and knowledge of frameworks like the National TOMs and Government Social Value Model
- Have knowledge and understanding of local community landscape including community organisations, education institutions, local authorities etc
