Ready to kickstart your career? Gain hands on experience on the Wates Social Value Management Trainee Programme. Join our sought-after Social Value Management Trainee Programme, you'll soon become a crucial member of the team supporting our Social Value, Health and Wellbeing agendas. You'll actively work on both business unit level and Group wide campaigns, pre-employment programmes and carry out reporting for social value initiatives and spend. Using the knowledge and skills you've learnt on the programme, you'll:

  • Assist with pre-employment programme administration, performance monitoring and reporting.
  • Support the Social Enterprise agenda, including the management of spend reports, case studies data and gap analysis.
  • Help to deliver Social Value activities in line with project KPIs
  • Take responsibility for elements of careers fairs, work experience and internships etc.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Work on the production of regular customer performance updates, milestone project impact reports and other reports.
  • Maintain information documents, good practise guidance and bid resources
  • Coordinate SharePoint resources, website content and social media output.

    For the Trainee Apprentice route, you'll have a keen interest in Production Management and need to have achieved grade 4/C in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent). You will also need to have obtained / be working towards a minimum of 2 A-Levels at grade D or above, or equivalent (Level 3 NVQ, BTEC, T-Level etc.).
