We have an opportunity in Ceredigion to recruit into a Social Work Assistant post to work with young people with disabilities and their families and there will also be opportunities to continue to support the young people into adulthood and to work with adults who require care and support as we develop a through age Disabilities Team in the Extended Support Service.

The Authority is committed to a strengths based approach using Signs of Safety and is in the process of transformation to a through-age and whole family model which offers greater flexibility to develop plans & services to meet needs. This model provides exciting opportunities for collaborative working between departments within the authority as well as with our partner agencies.

We are seeking Individuals with a degree of fluency in the Welsh language, A successful applicant without the required Welsh language skills will be fully supported to reach the desired standard within 2yrs of appointment.
