CwD Social Worker - Experienced social worker to join the Children with Disabilities who ideally has experience in working with families who have disabled children, assessing the level of need and offering appropriate services or direct payment packages. The team cover safeguarding and Looked After Children alongside assessments of need and also step down to Early Help. Any experience of Court including DoLS experience would be a real advantage as would Mental Capacity assessments and Best Interests meetings but not essential. Based in Knowsley, £37.23 per hour, plus one day off every 3 weeks paid. FSW in Children with Disabilities - Family support worker for the CwD Team who can support families who's children have profound and complex needs. The candidate should have experience working with Children and young people but also have knowledge in terms of direct payments and behavioural support. There will be elements of safeguarding knowledge required and ability to attend multi-agency
meetings. Direct work with non-verbal children will be needed and any knowledge of using PECS and visuals would be helpful. The successful candidate will have experience in completing interventions and following plans set out by the social worker.
