Here at Leicestershire County Council, we have exciting opportunities available to Newly Qualified Social Workers, as well as experienced Level 2 and Level 3 Social Workers, with a passion for working in collaboration with people facing a wide range of issues.,
- Have knowledge of social work methodologies, social care policies such as person-centred approaches and asset based social work, and relevant legislation including The Care Act, Mental Health Act, and Mental Capacity Act.
- Have experience of effective assessment and risk management delivery, and multi-agency/multidisciplinary working and/or hospital discharge processes.
- Have experience of partnership working with adults to identify and meet need with creative and pragmatic solutions.
- Be a confident communicator who is skilled in diplomacy, persuasion, assertive and conflict management and able to build effective working relationships.
- Be able to work proactively individually but also as a team member.
- Have good prioritisation and time management skills and have a valid UK driving licence or access to a vehicle We also expect you to share and will ask you to evidence when you have demonstrated them as part of the interview process. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for this role. A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
