Full Job Description

Due to the retirement of our current PA, The Hart School is seeking to appoint an organised, proactive and self-motivated PA to provide confidential clerical and administrative support to the Principal. As well as diary management, the co-ordination of meeting papers and note taking, this role includes organising school events and liaison with parents, governors and a range of external agencies. With proven experience at this level in an organisation, your ICT and literacy skills will be first-rate.

Often setting the first impression of the academy and Principal, you will have excellent inter-personal skills and be able to build working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels. You must be able to manage your own workload with minimal supervision and use your own initiative. This role is fast paced and you will be required to prioritise work throughout the day to deal with urgent matters, whilst maintaining high standards on routine tasks.

The hours of work will normally be 8am - 4pm (3.30pm on a Friday), with the applicant needing to be flexible to cover meetings after school.

If you believe that you have these qualities, are passionate about being involved in the growth of students and are interested in working as part of our school team, then we look forward to hearing from you.

The Hart School is an oversubscribed school that is situated in a pleasant residential area on the edge of Cannock Chase. We offer a stimulating environment that enables every learner to progress and flourish.

Our aims are clear: we want to enable every student 'to be the best that they can be', to thrive and meet or exceed their potential and to develop an enjoyment and passion for learning. We are a community school and proud of our Ofsted Good status.
