Join Our Dynamic and Impactful Adult social care Mental Health Team as our Social Worker for Adults involved in the Criminal Justice System, We are looking for a dedicated Social Worker to join our innovative team, working with adults with mental health needs who have come into contact with the criminal justice system . In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in supporting individuals with mental health issues and / or learning disabilities , as well as other associated complexities.

  • Collaborating Across Disciplines : Work alongside a wide range of professionals including police, prisons, courts, probation, and health teams to deliver a truly needs-based approach for every service user.
  • Promoting Partnerships : Foster strong, effective partnerships to ensure the best possible service delivery, putting the needs of individuals at the heart of your work.
  • Assessing and Supporting : Complete Care Act assessments , develop comprehensive support plans, and handle key tasks with legal requirements
  • Engaging the 'Difficult to Engage' : Develop meaningful, lasting relationships with individuals often described as hard to reach, and work closely with their families to ensure they receive the support they deserve.
  • Supporting Carers : Be a vital resource for carers, providing support through the Care Act and other tailored interventions.
  • Managing Risk : Providing and contribution to the management of Risk to persons and the wider community

  • 1. Relevant professional qualification for the job role at Level 6 or above, AND 2. Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in the role, AND 3. Maintained membership of a regulated body where this is a requirement to practice in the role where applicable, AND 4. Professional standards practised to the highest expected level.
