About the Role We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Social Worker to join our Family Support & Safeguarding team. With the support of a consistent senior management team, you will manage a manageable caseload and benefit from high-quality reflective supervision. You'll work in a collaborative environment with creative, like-minded professionals to make a real difference. You'll also receive the flexibility to work full-time or part-time to suit your work-life balance needs., In this role, you will:

  • Lead Section 47 investigations, assessments, and interventions to protect children in need, including those involved in child protection and care proceedings.
  • Work closely with a range of professionals in a multi-disciplinary approach, ensuring the best outcomes for children and their families.
  • Use the Signs of Safety framework to support a small number of families, ensuring long-term positive outcomes.
  • Continuously enhance your practice through professional development and training opportunities.

    This position is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
  • Valid driving licence and own transport, or be able to provide alternative, suitable method of travel is an essential condition for this role.
