Social Worker - MASH

We have an opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join our Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to experience working in a busy, multi-agency environment that focuses on providing good quality advice to ensure that families receive appropriate support. The Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) brings key professionals together to facilitate quality information sharing, analysis and decision-making, to safeguard vulnerable children, young people more effectively. Staff from across health, children's services, police, and education are based in the MASH at any one time at its based in Broadgate House in the city centre. Our MASH is the front door to statutory services, by applying consistent thresholds based on Right Help, Right Time. This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)., We're on a journey to excellence for Coventry's children, and we're committed to ensure that children and young people are at the heart of our decision-making and ensuring they receive good outcomes.
