An amazing opportunity has arisen to join a small team of midwives to care for a caseload of women and families with socially complex needs; planning and implementing individualised midwifery led care in partnership with the woman and the multidisciplinary team., To provide evidence based care for women and families with socially complex needs; planning and implementing individualised midwifery led care in partnership with the woman and the multidisciplinary team.
You will be working alongside multi professional teams providing the most appropriate care for women whilst breaking down barriers that can inhibit women with socially complex lives accessing high quality maternity care.
to work within the community midwifery teams caring specifically for women and families who have socially complex and/ or safeguarding needs during the antenatal and postnatal period. You will work closely with the Safeguarding Team, as well as the wider Multi disciplinary and inter agency teams.
In accordance with the job description of a band 6 midwife, provide antenatal and postpartum care reporting and deviations from the normal to a more experienced midwife, and respond appropriately to all emergency situations.
