The Trust uses electronic new starter forms on Trac to collect personal details. Information collected is securely stored and used to set up the employee record on the ESR HR system., The postholder will lead and manage the delivery of soft services functions: cleaning, security,
portering, mail, reception, catering, grounds, and pest control. Services are delivered using a
combination of in-house directly employed team members and external suppliers.
Ensure all statutory and NHS standards are maintained, services are delivered efficiently in
line with good practice, and that value for money is achieved,

  • To lead, motivate, manage and co-ordinate the efficient and effective delivery of soft

  • services, and be responsible for the effective service monitoring, review and remedial
    action-taking across all areas of responsibility.
  • Responsible for ensuring the highest standards of services are provided and

  • responsible for the ongoing review and updating of work related schedules within
    these services areas.
  • Work flexibly across entire range of service operations, ensuring correct focus and

  • priority is maintained and key initiatives and or projects prioritised in accordance with
    the Trust's strategy and operational plans.
  • Contribute to the formulation of plans, objectives and implementation of associated

  • actions to meet the Directorate's business planning process.
  • To work collaboratively with Estates Services colleagues in relation to the delivery of

  • the facilities services.
  • To manage the Soft Services team, which comprises 4 direct reports and 8 further

  • indirect reports, as well as outsourced service delivery partners.
