Soft Tissue Surgeon (Maternity Cover) - Bristol Veterinary Specialists (BVS)

We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Soft Tissue Surgeon to join our cover 12 months maternity leave. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in soft tissue surgery and would be ideal for someone with a strong interest in surgical oncology. They will be committed to delivering outstanding care, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to the growth and success of our practice.

Responsibilities:

- Provide care for Soft Tissue patients, their owners and referring vets.

- Provide post-operative care and support to patients and their owners.

- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and referring veterinarians to ensure continuity of care.

- Stay abreast of latest advancements in surgery and participate in continuing education opportunities.

- Contribute to the mentorship and training of residents and interns.

- Provide support and CPD for referring veterinarians.

Board certification or eligibility in Veterinary Surgery (ECVS, ACVS or RCVS).

- Demonstrated expertise in Soft Tissue surgery..

- Strong diagnostic and surgical skills, with a commitment to excellence.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Dedication to providing compassionate care to patients and their owners.
