Software Architect - 105500

As a Software Architect, your collaboration is critical in this role, working closely with other, technical experts, the clients centre of excellence teams, and wider engineering contacts, supporting the wider design activities. You'll also have the opportunity to influence the strategy, software products and tools, new technologies, obsolescence, new methods, and considering longer-term architectural strategies by being part of special interest groups and communities of interests.

• A technical Software Architect, comfortable with making important architectural and design decisions in complex environments.
• Proven experience and sound knowledge of both modern and established software architecture techniques, and their design patterns.
• Ability to provide technical guidance, clearly articulate software architecture solutions and collaborate with many software developers.
• Ability to assess and communicate trade-offs between various aspects of a Software Architecture, with a focus on design.
• Understanding of software abstraction layers and the software stack - C, C++, C#
• The experience to define and influence the tools, frameworks and technologies used and reasoning.
  
  Salary: £70k per year
