Full Job Description
Plan and deliver exciting lessons supporting learner progression, that relate to their needs and
interests
- Promote safety, wellbeing and safeguarding (CPOMS)
- Record attendance and academic notes on Arbor MIS
- Track learner progression on the allocated Google Sheets
- Develop innovative opportunities for interdepartmental and intradepartmental project collaborations
- Use a range of assessment methods and provide outstanding and prompt feedback to inspire
learners
- Complete learner one-to-one tutorials and individual learning plans on a bi-termly basis
- Facilitate the wide-range of enrichment trips and guest speaker events arranged across the year
- Work towards a stable learner retention and qualification achievement rate
- Undertake in-house training to remain up-to-date with awarding body expectations
- Support learners to prepare for their assessed end-of-year project
education experiences). BCIS cover Maths,
English, Science, Music and Media., Good understanding of Django/Python Language, HTML, CSS & Java Script
- Experienced in SQL and relational database, legislation and regulatory requirements
- Design documentation & repository (GitHub)
- Computer engineering (Hardware & Software) and networking
- Information analysis, understand business needs & requirements and derive the best system solution, Extremely organised and able to manage your own workload effectively and flexibly
-Highly motivated and driven to succeed
-Outstanding teaching and communication skills and understanding of Ofsted framework
-Solution-focused and able to responding to data trends
-Assertive and confident in learning environment management
-Ambitious and committed to meeting targets, setting standards of behaviour and work

-Excellent communication skills
-Visual scripting/programming skills
Essential Qualifications:
- Maths and English GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent (Level 2)
- Degree/relevant qualification in the subject area

We welcome industry professionals who wish to enter teaching, via the fully
funded Taking Teaching Further scheme's qualification. This is 6 months of
reduced timetable for training whilst receiving full pay and lesson cover.
- 25.5 hours across 4 days a week for 52 weeks per year
- Pro rata of 35 days of annual leave plus UK bank holidays
- This is a permanent part-time position
- Pro rata of qualified teacher annual salary FTE £33,000 - £42,000 (actual
salary £24,042 - £30,600) depending on experience
- Pro rata of unqualified teacher annual salary FTE £28,000 (actual salary
£20,400)
