Full Job Description

In this role, you'll learn key main components of the department and key processes for the SW&ET team. Within your rotations, you'll have the opportunity to deliver individual projects whilst developing key connections with the business stakeholders for the department. The product portfolio you will be working with is diverse, ranging from hypercars to SUVs. Your remit in this role would encompass numerous tasks, allowing you to become more connected to the products and gain recognition for your achievements whilst receiving the support you need to enable you to deliver., Your future within this role will be focused on software and technologies, which are rapidly growing within the automotive industry as we move towards a more software-defined car. This puts you at the forefront of the industry, with the opportunity to work on artificial intelligence as we transition to a more software-defined car. You'll be based at our Gaydon headquarters, with occasional travel to Wellesbourne and other sites within the UK. Plus, you'll gain a Chartered Manager (CMI Level 5) qualification along the way.

To excel in this role, you'll need to be a team worker, ambitious, and resilient. You'll be working within a collaborative cross-functional team, where you'll gain a crucial technical understanding of the software and electrical components. This role would really suit somebody who is keen to advance their career at a much faster and more progressive pace whilst gaining hands-on experience. You're not the type to shy away from challenges or be interested in a role that doesn't push you to grow as you thrive being pushed outside your comfort zone. In this role, you'll have the chance to work on exciting projects, make a meaningful impact, and be recognised for your contributions. You'll need to:

  • A degree in Electrical/Electronic/Software Engineering/Telecoms/Robotics or Computer Science
  • Some experience in coding e.g. Matlab/Python/C/C++
  • Enthusiasm and motivation for working at Aston Martin Lagonda
  • Ability to work with others cross functionally and communicate well across all levels

    A starting salary of £34,200 with performance-based increments.
