Full Job Description

During this internship, you will be supporting Satellite Payload Test activities through continued support and development of our bespoke Onesat Test System. This will involve participating in our sprints and daily scrums, and when needed, in the cleanroom supporting the test system itself.

There are multiple process improvement ideas that you will have the opportunity to manage yourself within our 'Sprint' framework, and deliver the solution to the Test System Engineering team, and subsequently the wider AIT business.

There will be opportunities to manage and run sprints during this placement so you can gain useful real world experience in this area.

  • Ideally studying towards an Engineering, Science, or Production based degree;

  • Have a basic knowledge of Labview and/or Java;

  • Have basic knowledge of Agile/Sprint methodologies;

  • Communication skills, teamwork, presentation skills, proactive and not afraid to speak up or ask questions., This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.

  • The Test System Engineering team works on the Electrical and RF (Radio Frequency) testing of telecommunication satellite spacecraft products, specifically on the NEO and the new Onesat platforms.
