Are you an enthusiastic, customer-centric Software Implementation Consultant with experience in implementing business software solutions who has the skills and experience you think are critical to the growth of OGL Software? Then we want to hear from you…, We are seeking a Software Implementation Consultant to join our hybrid-friendly team in Stourport-on-Severn. You will be responsible for successfully implementing our recently launched Profit4 ERP software solution into our customers' businesses. Helping small and medium businesses digitally transform their operations and stay competitive will be your contribution to the UK's small and medium business sector.

You will work closely with our customers throughout the entire implementation process, so you will be having detailed business discussions about how they operate and the best way to transform and future proof their business. You will have those conversations that push the customer to question "why do we do it that way?".

Your wider team includes Project Leaders, Data Migration Analysts and Software Support teams combined with a very supportive and knowledgeable leadership team. You will become the product specialist in all aspects of our software solutions and customer processes, having a natural ability to help others understand how to get the most out of their new system with clarity and integrity.

You will build trust with the customer and effectively collaborate with teams across the business. You will need to think on your feet and not only engage customers who want to learn more about the system, but also be able to offer advice and guidance to help customers embrace the digital transformation of their business.

This is varied and exciting role, the key aspects of your success will come from excellent communication and teamwork. Many of our projects are delivered remotely, but we do like to get to know our customers in person, so onsite visits are required during projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of all consulting aspects of the project, working with customers to fully understand their business requirements

  • Create, develop, and nurture strong and dynamic relationships with our customers

  • Develop a strong view of the service our customers receive, working with the rest of the team to provide a world-class customer experience

  • Train, coach and advise on best practices with our customers on how to use the software most effectively and, where required, help them to modify their existing processes, procedures, and process flows

  • Configuring and implementing our customers systems appropriately

  • Setting and maintaining realistic customer expectations

  • Keep up to date with new features in our software releases. You will need to be a system expert to be successful in this role!

  • Manage your customer support requests during the implementation phase

  • Collaboration with key project stakeholders, ensuring milestones are fully documented and achieved

  • Identify project concerns & queries and work collaboratively with the Project Leader & Delivery Manager to ensure a swift resolution

    Outstanding communication and presentation skills being comfortable with hosting meetings and training session remotely and in person with customers and your team

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including proficient verbal and listening skills, with the ability to persuade & influence people at multiple levels within a business

  • Ability to be involved in multiple projects and complete to agreed deadlines

  • Understand business processes, modelling and supporting technologies

  • All applicants must hold a full driving licence


  • Desirable skills:
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, i.e., Sage, Xero, and SAP

  • Experience of blended learning methodologies and e-learning systems

  • A basic understanding of general business processes - purchasing, stock management, sales, invoicing

  • Prior experience in a Software Implementation Consultant role. If you don't have this experience, but have the qualities we're looking for, we'd still love to hear from you
