Full Job Description

We are seeking experienced Solar PV Installer Leads to join Eco2 Solar in a national role, leading two-person teams across England. As a key member of our Solar PV installation team, you will ensure exceptional quality and customer service for new build residential and commercial solar PV installations, including both flat and pitched roof installations. You will collaborate with our skilled Solar PV electricians, traveling across the UK to complete installations. Your responsibilities will include adhering to the highest health, safety, and quality standards and actively participating in fostering a positive safety culture. Working alongside our Installations Manager, you will also contribute to the training and upskilling of Solar PV Installation Labourers. At Eco2 Solar, we focus on clear expectations and feedback to help our team members grow and develop, rather than imposing endless KPIs or micromanaging.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Experience installing solar PV systems
  • Over 2 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in roofing or a similar field.
  • A valid CSCS card.
  • IPAF qualification (desirable)
  • Experience working at height, ladder safety, and manual handling
  • SSMTS or SSSTS certification (desirable).
  • A full UK driver's license.
  • Skills and attributes we value:
  • Providing excellent service and support to our customers.
  • Continuously seeking better ways and challenging the norm.
  • Supporting your teammates to succeed.
  • Embodying our core values of Excellence, Fairness, Innovation, and Trust.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • High organisational ability.
  • Diligence and attention to detail.

Over the last 17 years, we have grown from strength to strength and our future looks even brighter. Our ambitious 5-year business plan aims to triple our growth, and we are looking for exceptional individuals to join us on this journey. We don't expect you to have all the skills from day one, but we do expect you to bring your best effort every day. In return, you will find endless opportunities within our growing organisation.
  • Our recruitment process is rigorous but fair, designed to ensure that we find the right fit for our company culture. We believe in making a difference for future generations and are looking for team members who share our vision. If you are ready to contribute new ideas, support your colleagues, and grow with us, you might be the perfect fit for our team.

  • Competitive salary with opportunities for career progression.
  • Excellent benefits, 33 days holiday per year (including bank holidays), plus an additional day off for your birthday, holiday buy and sell scheme, £30 per month to be claimed for activities to promote personal wellbeing.
  • Comprehensive training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • A supportive and dynamic work environment.
  • The chance to be part of a growing company dedicated to renewable energy.
  • A great culture to work in with flexible hours.
  • A friendly and engaging team with autonomy and support.
  • Clear expectations with regular feedback to ensure success.
