Solicitor

We are seeking to recruit a confident and highly motivated employment Solicitor (ideally with around 2 years PQE) to join our award winning and highly regarded Employment team based in Bristol, with opportunities for sensible hybrid working arrangements.

Having been previously ranked as 'Employment team of the year' and with consistently high rankings in both Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners, you'll be part of a high performing team which provides pragmatic, rigorous and commercial advice in both private businesses in technology & retail, and in public sectors, locally and nationally.

From the outset you'll be providing expert advice to a range of clients including employers and senior employees/executives in a range of litigious matters. Responsible for dealing with high quality, high value work, we will encourage and enable you to lead your own matters from the outset.

Reporting to and working closely with the head of the team, you will play an integral part in a wide range of employment work.

Having worked with a successful employment team at a similar sized city or national law firm, you will have already gained a good level of experience in litigious employment matters.

As a strong communicator, you will excel at gaining the confidence of the clients you are working with, and handle their matters with empathy and sensitivity. You will need the ability to build strong and lasting relationships with clients, and show a genuine commitment to their care. Naturally resilient, you will be able to cope with stressful and demanding situations, and be accustomed to working under pressure to meet challenging deadlines. You will be tenacious and thorough with good commercial judgement, in order to find the best possible outcomes for our clients in often challenging circumstances.
