Full Job Description
Note to Agencies: If external support is required on a vacancy, the role will be released by individual invite to specific agencies on our PSL. Any speculative candidates sent to Simpson Millar will be considered a gift and no fees will be applicable.
- A knowledge of Court of Protection property & affairs work including managing files prior to the settlement of personal injury litigation.
- Experience of statutory will and other relevant Court of Protection applications including drafting applications and all supporting documents.
- Experience of advising on LPA.
- An understanding of funding streams for packages of care including continuing health care and local authority funding.
- Knowledge of relevant personal taxes, benefits and other matters connected to personal finances.
- Experience of PI trust set up and management desirable
