Solution Architect

The Solution Architect will ensure that prospects and clients are matched with tailored solutions to fit their business and technical requirements that will ensure solid integration with Emarsys acting as the conduit between business and technology. Working collaboratively with Emarsys' Sales, Client Success & Technical departments the Solution Architect will gather and analyze client requirements and provide professionally designed solutions to ensure a smooth contract signature process and together with Implementation Consultant will ensure a swift and smooth delivery of agreed services. This client facing role will seamlessly combine creative thinking and commercial awareness to successfully agree with the prospect/client on services to be provided, while collaborating in post- sales activities to provide a world class experience to our Clients throughout the implementation process. The Solution Architect will report directly to the Professional Services Director.,

• Participation in pre-sales technical scoping, requirements gathering and solution review
• Translation of functional and non-functional requirements into a solution design document with a view on strategic requirements versus solution and delivery requirements.
• Aligning client's process flow with Emarsys by understanding the client's status quo to establish a base line and how best to match that with Emarsys best practices
• Produce technical specification for custom development that can then be passed to internal technical departments to be built per specification without the requirement to further gather requirements or challenge logic
• Collaborate with wider Professional Services team to translate technical objectives/deliverables to a project plan
• Onboarding project technical sign off to ensure that work done is following best practices and delivers on functionality. This will be achieved through a QA process performed by the Solution Architect.
• Collaborate with Product Management teams, provide product enhancements with possible ways of implementing based on customer feedback and experience
• fully understanding for their application environment and data in order to provide insightful and effective design recommendations for integration in a timely and impactful manner is needed
  
  University degree in computer sciences/engineering or similar (or equivalent certification)
• 3 years minimum experience in a technical role ideally with a SaaS provider
• Experience with integration project (e.g. API, Databases, MS Dynamics, Salesforce, Magento, Recommendation Engines)
• PM qualifications (Prince2, Agile, A/PMP) as an advantage
• Understanding of database design (relational and flat structures)
• A keen understanding of data structures and workflow to aid clients in project scope and implementation requirements
• Ability to discuss specifics of middleware and systems integration with developers and IT Directors/CTO's
• Profound knowledge of web technologies (HTML/XML/PHP/JavaScript) - Saas technologies, distributed computing concepts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English a must.
