The Solutions Director- Platform Managed Services will set the standards for managed services solutions excellence within Serco and lead a team of domain experts for our largest and most complex platform enabled managed services growth opportunities, ensuring that Serco continues to deliver compelling propositions that positively impact the communities and citizens that we serve. The key purpose is to lead and manage the development of standout propositions and deliverable solutions, that excite our clients, and therefore result in winning good business for Serco and delivering exceptional solutions for our clients. As part of this, you'll
- Lead customer facing meetings with strategic clients and leads the identification of business problems and challenges. Zero in on what matters most, and define the business objectives, outcomes and technical requirements that will be used to develop the proposition and solution in managed services bids.
- Improve UK&E win rates by driving proposition and solution design success in line best practice in the managed service space.
- Lead a solutions and propositions platform enabled services team to develop end to end solutions which are in line with the agreed strategy; meet the customers business outcomes / requirements and achieve the required affordability targets.
- Manage the clients' expectations and understand how Serco can solve their business problem in a novel way that is exciting
- Lead the creation of bid narrative for the solution response and act as final editor on all submitted material.
- Ensure a full understanding of the pricing approach, working with the finance and commercial leads.
Deep experience of leading the creation of winning value propositions and deliverable solutions for large, complex platform enabled managed services - Strong experience leading the design of multi-channel digitally enabled front to back-office solutions, leveraging digital capabilities, to transform user experience.
- Educated to Degree level and / or higher level qualification is highly desirable
- Exceptional senior stakeholder management skills and an ability to influence at all levels
- Commercially astute and financially aware with proven strategy development and execution capability
- effectively articulate ideas, concepts, and solutions in writing and through presentations, to both senior internal stakeholders and senior customer groups in a way that makes the complex easy to understand.
