• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with designers, business analysts, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and technical constraints.
• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance to engineering teams during the implementation phase, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
• Problem-Solving: Translate business requirements into technical solutions with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Communication: Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Integration Patterns: Apply your knowledge of integration patterns across a diverse ecosystem of on-premises applications, COTS, and SaaS systems.
• Cloud Architecture: Architect applications for the cloud, with a focus on Azure (experience with Azure is beneficial).
• Knowledge Sharing: Enable others through knowledge sharing, pairing, presentations, and mentoring.
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrate working knowledge of REST API, Event Driven Architecture, SaaS, CQRS, DDD, Contract-based testing, and Containerization.
• Quality Attributes: Understand and ensure the quality attributes of systems (non-functional requirements).
• Holistic Design: Design holistic solutions, with experience in client-facing solutions being beneficial.
  
  The ideal candidate will have experience with architecting solutions in the Corporate Lending space eg. Mortgages, Loans etc, although this is not a pre-requisite. A background in Financial services would also be beneficial., Experience: Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role, with a track record of designing and implementing solutions, especially in Financial services
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud architecture, particularly Azure, and familiarity with REST API, Event Driven Architecture, SaaS, CQRS, DDD, Contract-based testing, and Containerization.
• Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Leadership: Ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Educational Background: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Desirable skills / experience
• A background in solution architecture in Financial services is preferred, but not essential
