Full Job Description

  • Dedicated to a complex site move project, relocating multiple systems at multiple classifications to a number of new locations
  • Working with the support of a mixed team including project and programme management, business analysis, IM&T governance, IM&T operations, information security, physical security, site operations, and others.
  • Reviewing and analysing the as-is architectural landscape in order to make recommendations about future location options and design
  • Producing designs and documentation.
  • With a focus on infrastructure (hosting and networks), but also considering application landscape, user locations, and supportability.
  • Consider existing obsolescence and availability risks and make recommendations on mitigations
  • Submitting documentation for review according to the IM&T assurance processes.
  • Making recommendations on transition approaches to minimise downtime and user impact while optimising costs.
  • Supporting project and programme management in producing plans and business cases, managing risks and issues, and developing cost models
  • Supporting other projects within the IM&T portfolio as directed by the IM&T Chief Architect.
