Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our ICT & Digital Transformation Directorate, we are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual to undertake the post of Solutions Architect. The successful candidate will be part of a growing architecture team, working to support the organisation and its subsidiary companies to assist with the development and maintenance of an architectural roadmap to support the programme of work within the ICT&DT department., The Solutions Architect is an exciting new role within the ICT & Digital team and will assist in the establishment of an IT architecture practice and the adoption of solution architecture, finding the best technical solutions to solve existing business problems. They will collaborate with the Director and Head of ICT & Digital Transformation, Technical Architect and systems development team to design and implement system design solutions., The successful candidate will work in our ICT & Digital Transformation team led by Jo Hamilton: Director, ICT & Digital Transformation.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience of working as a Solutions Architect, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, equivalent education or work experience or relevant professional or ICT qualification.

  • Solutions Architect - permanent role
  • Salary is £62,482 per annum
  • Location: Based at either our Stanley (DH9 7YE) or Gosforth (NE12 8EG) office
  • Some travel will be required
  • 37 Hours per week with some homeworking available/flexible working
