Full Job Description
- Provide a knowledgeable wine service to guests, pairing wines with our food menu.
- Hone your craft by demonstrating your skills and knowledge across the team. Conduct briefings and team tastings.
- Ensure wine stock is stored correctly, maintaining a presentable and safe cellar.
- Excellent communication with both the team and guests, having a caring & considered approach in all that you do.
- Take an active approach in developing your knowledge of wines & spirits.
- Fulfilling additional responsibilities assigned by our Head Sommelier.
- Maintain a clean & tidy bar area, including closing procedures of the bar.
Previous experience as a Sommelier or Bartender (with a good knowledge of wine) within a similar environment is required. A positive, can-do attitude and eagerness to develop your knowledge in wines and spirits is essential.
