Full Job Description

We are looking for a Sourcing and Ethical Administration Assistant to join our Manchester office, working as part of our responsible sourcing and ethical team. You will be responsible for all the daily admin for the global supply base. The team We started out as one brand with only three team members in 2006, today we are now made up of 13 amazing brands and counting, we have offices all over the world and we've grown to a 6,000+ strong team we call our boohoo family - and we don't plan on stopping yet. We have big ambitions, huge potential and a clear strategy to continually evolve and grow the business. It's a seriously exciting time to join us and influence the next chapter of our success. Responsible Sourcing and Product Operations is reimagining how the Group works globally. We cover Sustainability, Sourcing, Ethical Trade, Product Quality and Operational Efficiency. This involves on-boarding all new group suppliers and factories, meeting new suppliers, supporting the Sourcing Managers, and working closely with our overseas sourcing & compliance teams and with all of our 13 brands. We turn challenges into opportunities so we can be as commercially and operationally effective as possible while still being ethical and sustainable! In some companies, what we do gets split into many smaller teams. Not us. Together we align all areas and achieve our goals, constantly pushing for better. What you'll be doing · Collaborate with boohoo central and regional sourcing and ethical teams to ensure successful on-boarding of new suppliers and factories as the business requires · Support in sourcing new suppliers, arranging supplier meetings and suppliers expos · Assist in mapping and monitoring of global supply chain · Work with suppliers and our audit partners to ensure all factories have a valid audit · Assist the ethical compliance team with the maintenance of our global audit programme

  • Supporting Buying & Merchandising teams with suppliers new and existing queries
  • Updating new supplier trackers and reports for wider team and business
  • Sourcing new suppliers, arranging and chairing new supplier calls
  • Taking minutes for weekly/ monthly team and wider business meetings
  • General admin - answering email queries, updating information, using internal systems
  • Collaborate with our brands buying teams and externally with our supply base
  • Working closely with wider teams - Ethical, Sustainability, Product Compliance

    Able to work both individually and as part of a team
  • Experience of working in an administrator role or similar
  • Strong time-management skills and able to prioritise workload
  • Confident using Outlook, Excel and Word
  • You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Perform under pressure and operate in a fast past environment
