KNEAD is based in Stamford, Lincolnshire. We have three beautiful, unique sites that each have their own personality, character and charm but share a passion for exceptional food & drink sourced locally as much as possible.

We are looking recruit kitchen assistants / trainee Chefs to help within our busy and bustling kitchens. The successful candidate will be expected to assist in preparing all aspects of our menus be it our sharing tapas style dishes, afternoon teas, pizzas or helping to prepare a number of mouth-watering dishes from our main menus. This role really is unique as there is an opportunity to work across all 3 of our sites.

We are passionate about what we do and each venue delivers a very unique and different style of food not only to each other but to anywhere else within Stamford., We like to encourage & train all of our staff to become confident, professional people who are also friendly and happy ensuring they build great relationships with our customers.

Various shifts and days available but weekend shifts will be required as part of employment.

Day Range:

  • Day shift, Some weekend work will be required on a rota basis.

  • Up to 25 hours per week available but weekends are essential.

  • Working as part of a team and leading from the front together with your Manager.

  • A sound knowledge of all of our products both food & beverage.

  • Delivering impeccable customer service and always showing a positive attitude even in times of pressure.

  • Venue Ambience - ensuring that the venue is warm, welcoming and tidy at all times.

  • Confident in using EPOS, software programs and our manual systems., We are looking for a CDP to start working in these busy sites straight away. Assisting the rest of our team in a quick and efficient way.

    Knowledge of food hygiene & safety

  • A basic knowledge of food preparation & cooking.

  • A positive attitude & reliability to ensure a strong kitchen team.

  • An enthusiasm to learn new skills, The successful candidate must be well presented with an eye for detail and previous housekeeping/cleaning experience is preferred., We are looking to recruit an experienced, highly motivated Sous Chef, who has real enthusiasm and passion for locally sourced quality food. As a member of our team, you will love all things food & want to be part of a kitchen team that works together to design & innovate exciting dishes., Have previous experience working in a fresh food kitchen where as much as possible is made in house

  • Be a strong 2nd, who the other members can look up to and learn from.

  • A knowledgeable chef who takes pride in producing quality fresh food, and ensure consistently high standards throughout the kitchen., The successful candidate must be well rounded in both bar and restaurant style environments and prepared to work some evenings and weekends.


  • Ideally we'd like someone with a minimum of 2 years management experience in a bar/restaurant style environment.

    Experience on cocktails and craft beers and knowledge of modern food styles would be fantastic but not a necessity as full training will be provided.

    We are looking to recruit Bar staff across all three of our venues:

    The Crown hotel, The Tobie Norris & Paten & Co.

    The Crown Hotel has 28 bedrooms with a busy 7 day a week operation serving food from 8am throughout the day.

    The Tobie Norris is one of Stamford's oldest, most interesting buildings dating back to the 13th Century. It is a hugely popular pub that serves a fantastic range of Real Ales, Wines & Spirits. We are famous for our pizzas but also offer a separate mouthwatering menu.

    Paten & Co sits just across from our hotel in a redesigned 18th century building reflective of its merchant history but with a modern twist. Offering a flavoursome menu, craft beers, select wines and specialist cocktails.

    Experience in busy bar environments/hospitality preferable. Although full training will be received on site., KNEAD is based in Stamford, Lincolnshire. We have three beautiful, unique sites that each have their own personality, character and charm but share a passion for exceptional food & drink sourced locally as much as possible.

    We are looking to recruit Front of House staff across all three of our venues:

    The Crown hotel, The Tobie Norris & Paten & Co.

    We are looking at expanding our Housekeeping team to help us clean, care and look after our rooms and help us to deliver our high standards that we are famous for., We have an exciting opportunity for a Sous Chef to join one of our three fantastic venues within Stamford.
