Are you a knowledgeable and energetic Sous Chef who is looking for a new and exciting experience? Or perhaps youre an experienced and aspirational Chef de Partie looking to take the next step in your career? Then we have a fantastic opportunity as a Sous Chef in our brand new hospitality offering in Newcastle opening late August!
Unlike many roles in hospitality, our roles do not include late night working giving a rare and much sought after, work life balance.
From writing and costing menus, to managing a warm and friendly team, we want our Sous Chefs to be able to run the kitchen in the absence of our Head Chefs to give our customers the best level of service and consistency.
Advertised hourly rate is £12.04 - added tronc brings this to a potential gross annual earning of approximately £34,000.
We also have a Sous Chef role available in our Terrace restaurant (please note that this location is not eligible for service charge allocation)

  • Previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant

  • Preparing food from scratch and working with fresh ingredients

  • Passionate about food with an aptitude for learning
