Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic candidate to join the Back of House Catering department at Norwich City Football Club in the role of Junior Sous Chef. This is an excellent role for someone who has experience of working in a high quality catering business with aspirations of progressing in the industry.

The candidate will take ownership of one of our restaurants on matchdays, otherwise day-to-day working within our team to produce and serve food items for our conference & banqueting events adhering to the Delia Smith brand and recipes.

This role is 40 hours per week which is worked over 5 days and includes home matchdays and some unsociable hours.

Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and serve food items for Delia's Canary Catering, working to recipes pre-set by head chefs.

  • Work on matchdays taking ownership for producing and serving food items for one of our busy restaurants.

  • Work within a pre-determined format to keep waste to a minimum as far as possible.

  • Assist with maintaining and recording all aspects of Food Hygiene to meet Health and Safety Legislation / Requirements and the Club's Food Management System.
