Sous Chef

As a Sous Chef at Sodexo, you will play a key role in our culinary team, assisting in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes that exceed our clients' expectations. In this position, you will support the Head Chef in managing kitchen staff, maintaining food quality standards, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. • Assist the Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain quality and consistency in food production.
• Help manage inventory, including ordering and stock control, to ensure the kitchen runs efficiently.
• Monitor food safety and hygiene practices, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Contribute to menu planning and development, bringing innovative ideas to enhance our offerings.
  
  Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong culinary skills and a passion for delivering exceptional food quality.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and guide kitchen staff.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• A creative mindset with the ability to contribute to menu development and special events.
