Full Job Description
The Role: As Sous Chef, you'll be working alongside the Head Chef in a busy, high-end kitchen, helping to create exciting and delicious dishes for the hotel's 3 AA Rosette restaurant. You'll need to be a hands-on chef who can lead from the front, develop your team, and maintain the high standards that this establishment is known for.,
- Preparing fresh, high-quality dishes
- Leading a section during service
- Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met
- Writing allergen matrixes and completing daily kitchen audits
- Managing the kitchen team and rotas
- Ordering stock and managing inventory
Previous experience in a fine-dining or rosette-awarded kitchen - Strong leadership skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and creative cooking
- Excellent knowledge of allergens and food safety regulations
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum plus service charge (around £3,600 per year) - Potential on-site accommodation to help you settle in
