Full Job Description
We are looking for a talented Sous Chef to join our amazing events kitchen. With over twenty years of experience, rhubarb proudly create and cater some of the biggest events in London and beyond. From beautiful canapé receptions to elegant weddings and exquisite charity galas, we deliver events with deliciously different flair. Working closely with our incredible Head Chef and food development team, you will be a force behind our world-famous events, ensuring wow factor goes into every plate, bowl and canapé. You will be based at our purpose-built, state of the art kitchen in SW18, plus on occasion heading out to events in and around London. The Sous Chef will be a key player within a core team of 20. As a Sous Chef you'll be running various sections in the kitchen and leading events as required. The ideal Sous Chef will have a proven background in a similar role with an event caterer, production kitchen, luxury hotel or venue. A stable and progressive career within high end (ideally rosette level as a minimum) restaurants would be ideal, not to mention excellent product and market knowledge of food trends and the London dining scene.
