Full Job Description

  • Compile all food orders for your sections, ensuring food standards and cost are agreed with the Head Chef

  • Proven experience working as a Sous Chef or similar role.
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Works according to the BaxterStorey core values
  • Assist the Head Chef in the kitchen operation
  • Look at the development and planning of menus, including future food trends
  • Develop new styles of service and concepts in the location, Excellent presentation, communication and man management skills are required for senior positions, and all will require individuals to demonstrate a real passion for food and service with bags of enthusiasm.
