Full Job Description

The South West Complex Termination of Pregnancy Network (CTOPN) is looking for a compassionate and dynamic registered nurse or midwife who has an interest in Womens Health and Complex Termination of Pregnancy.
This is an exciting opportunity as our service is ever growing and developing. We are looking for a caring and compassionate nurse or midwife to join the team., The successful applicant will work as the nurse/midwife representative of the CTOPN multi-disciplinary team, will be the main point of contact for women who require abortion within the CTOPN and will implement treatment plans made by the MDT.
The postholder will have, or will develop, advanced skills in the field of abortion care (scanning, contraception, cervical preparation and safeguarding).
The postholder will be an advocate and trainer for exceptional quality abortion care both within NBT and across the South West.

A forward thinking, skilled and highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills.
A role model and leader that motivates and empowers the staff to develop and enhance their own knowledge and skills. Compassionate and caring but also has the ability to organise and use own initiative to be able to solve problems and contribute new ideas within the wider team.
Good written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of IT systems.
