Spa Therapist

As a Beauty Therapist you will help provide a friendly, knowledgeable and professional service offering a world-class range of Elemis, Decleor, Carita, Aromatherapy Associates & Jessica nail treatments. You will consult each client to fully understand their personal needs and be committed to delivering exceptional treatments. As a Beauty Therapist you'll also be supporting your line manager to maximise revenue through great customer service & proactive selling of high quality spa retail products., The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:

• To carry out treatments to the highest of standards.


• To support excellent working relationships within the department.


• To provide a high quality service to all our guests.


• To support the Spa Supervisor to ensure sales promotion and positioning of the Spa and services.


• Develop both formal and informal communication channels between the functions of the department.


• Attend monthly Spa & Leisure Meeting, and Health & Safety Meetings as required.


• Maintain data integrity of electronic stock control system, point of sale and spa scheduling systems.


• Comply with all HR policies with regard to recruitment and disciplinary procedures.


• Ensure that all department equipment is in good working order.


• To attend any departmental training organized on your behalf internal or external.


• To accurately record treatment and retail records for commission.


• Ensure that proper key controls are in effect.


• Ensure that all Spa supplies are efficiently requisitioned from storage and that weekly stock takes are taken.


• Ensure confidentiality of all user log-ins.


• Proactively support the Health and Safety policy of the Hotel in conjunction with the Health & Safety at Work Act. Always use the correct cleaning materials and in the correct manner at all times as laid down by the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health, (COSHH) Regulations 1988 and maintain your department COSHH Register.


• Comply with the Fire Safety Policy of the hotel.


• Ensure safe working practices are adhered to.


• If and when necessary liaise with, on professional basis, all outside agencies.

Education or Certification

· Good level of English essential

NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent Nationally recognised Qualification
