Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a talented and dedicated Spanish Teacher. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching to the highest standard, committed to maintaining a healthy, comfortable environment, and can develop their practice in the school.

What will you do?

  • Deliver the curriculum, prepare teaching materials, and ensure high standards of literacy and student progress.

  • Establish a safe and stimulating environment, manage classroom behaviour, and promote student well-being.

  • Use assessment data to monitor student progress, set targets, and plan lessons.

  • Collaborate with colleagues, participate in professional development, and communicate effectively with parents and external bodies.

  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of students, ensuring compliance with school policies and protocols., We want to make sure we are attracting the widest possible range of people and ensure that they are accepted, understood and treated equally when they work here. This means we will work hard to understand that each employee is unique and ensuring that individuals or groups are not treated differently or less favourably on the basis of specific characteristics.

  • Qualified to bachelor's degree level in relevant or allied subject

  • Able to work independently, collaboratively and as part of a team

  • Excellent communication skills with children, parents and carers

  • Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students
