Full Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join our team in the S45 area. In this role, you will work closely with students who require additional support to reach their full potential, tailoring learning approaches to meet individual needs. You will collaborate with the SENCO and other teaching staff to ensure each child receives the best possible educational experience., + Deliver tailored lessons and interventions to students with a range of special educational needs.
+ Develop and implement strategies that support personalised learning, with a focus on differentiated instruction.
+ Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, support staff, and parents to develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
+ Monitor and track students' progress, adjusting teaching methods and resources where necessary.
+ Foster an inclusive, supportive, and positive classroom environment where every student feels valued and capable.
+ Collaborate with external professionals where needed (e.g., educational psychologists, speech therapists) to provide holistic support for students., + Supportive Environment: You will be part of a dedicated team working to create an inclusive learning environment.

+ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential, with a recognised teaching qualification.

+ Knowledge of SEN Strategies: A strong understanding of best practices in SEN, including differentiated instruction, behaviour management techniques, and knowledge of specific learning difficulties and conditions.
+ Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to engage and communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
