Full Job Description

The Electrodiagnostic Clinic provides a specialist service for the electrophysiological and psychophysical investigation of patients, with particular emphasis on the assessment of hearing and vision.

A wide range of complex electrophysiological and psychophysical investigations are carried out on babies, children and adults in the Clinic, on the wards, or in the operating theatres. Auditory patients are referred to the Clinic from the Newborn Hearing Screening Programme (NHSP), the Children's Hearing Assessment Centre (CHAC), ENT, the Cochlear Implant Programme and from other Trusts and organisations in the Nottinghamshire area and beyond.

The post holder will act as a lead specialist for the provision of a broad range of complex and highly specialised auditory electrodiagnostic techniques as required within the Electrodiagnostic Clinic., The main duties of the job will be to undertake evoked potentials auditory testing (ABR, ASSR, ACR, nABR, CM, o +cVEMP) on a wide range of patients for a large and leading centre in the field.

The role involves interpreting sometimes highly complex data and imparting the results to a number of audiences, from patients to consultants
