Full Job Description

An exciting training opportunity has arisen where you can build on your band 5 audiology skills to develop into a band 6 Specialist Paediatric Audiologist. This is a specialist development post when on completion of your training you will be upgraded to a band 6. Your training will involve the completion of The BAA higher Training scheme. The Bury Audiology Service is friendly, forward thinking and experienced with a good skill mix. It is an innovative and dynamic service that provides treatment and advice to adults and children with hearing and balance problems. Main duties of the job You will provide specialist paediatric / pre-school services and some routine adult services on patients in line with service requirements as part of the team within Bury Audiology Services footprint mainly at Fairfield General Hospital Audiology / ENT department

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and caring person to complement our existing audiology team. The role requires post qualification paediatric audiology experience in order to lead routine pre -school assessment clinics and support complex pre-school clinics. Key Requirements of the Person Specification : o BSc / MSc in Audiology or the equivalent professional qualification (ONC BTEC in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurements with a Professional Qualification in Audiology (BAAT Part I and II). o RCCP / AHCS or HCPC,
