Full Job Description
The role will involve undertaking diagnostic and rehabilitative test procedures on both adults and children and to provide scientific support to the Audiology and Hearing Therapy Department in developing services. Providing support to ENT clinics at base location and satellite clinics.
Contributing to other areas of audiology service provision, including audit and service evaluation, and taking a lead role in a core governance function within the service such as health and safety, infection control, safeguarding or other as required.
An opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic and friendly team as a Band 6 Specialist Audiologist. This is a varied role performing hearing assessment for both children and adults and hearing aid clinics for children. We pride ourselves in providing a quality, forward thinking service and are looking for someone with an enthusiasm for service improvement.
The role would suit someone looking to further develop their specialist skills in paediatric audiology in a friendly and supportive environment. Along with the clinical duties the role will also allow you to get involved with work relating service development and quality assurance. Although ideally we are looking for someone to work full-time, we would consider part-time hours for the right candidate.

We work extended hours, with full-time staff typically working 4 days a week 8-6pm.
