Full Job Description
An opportunity for 2 specialist Physiotherapists to join our Stroke & Neuro teams on 12-month Fixed Term Contracts We have 5 rotations in Acute/Rehab & Community settings, based at St Peter's Hospital, Woking and Walton Community Hospitals, and in patients' own homes:
- Hyper acute and Acute Stroke Unit
- Stroke Rehab
- Neuro-rehab - Bradley Unit: regional unit for patients with conditions such as TBI, MS, SCI and GBS
- Early Supported Discharge for Stroke
- Community Neuro-rehab - with Central Surrey Health (CSH), providing treatment and supporting long-term management Keen to develop specialist skills in neurology?Want to participate in local service development?, Undertake advanced assessments, formulate clinical diagnoses, problem lists and patient led goals, to provide appropriate treatment for patients with neurological conditions which may be acute or sub-acute, complex and / or chronic presentations Work as an autonomous practitioner to undertake a significant specialist clinical caseload, working without direct supervision Contribute to board rounds or problem patient sessions to ensure that patients get the right treatment, in the right place at the right time

You'll need senior experience in stroke or neurology and preferably have worked in community settings; also a broad grounding in a variety of fields including acute hospital experience and different specialties, e.g. older people, orthopaedics, medicine.,
